I have hunks of something I kind of like, but days of trying to assemble them in an editor makes it all look worse, somehow. I'm now getting sick of it. My reach exceeds my drawing ability - at least as regards making a good-looking logo out of the drawing.
The team is called the Bonnevilles, based in the Salt Lake City area. (For the sake of fictional uniform makers everywhere, they'll be called the Utah Bonnevilles.) I have a blue/gold color scheme in mind, to represent the ground and sky of the salt flats, and a stylized red car with checkered flags on either side.
I fiddled with making the staffs of the flags into baseball bats, and you can see from the assembled sketch page below that I was wondering about a shoulder patch/alt logo. The jersey could just have the wordmark, and the hat could have anything - the B from the wordmark and the flags on either side, maybe an interlocking "SLC" since that's where the team will play (and just "U" looks kind of dumb).
Can one of our actual talents come to my rescue here? I'm not committed to the precise colors, but I think the logo can work as described and shown. Much thanks!
