After winning two out of three in Pittsburgh against the Pirates, the Astros begin a six-game home stand with a three-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies. Tonight will be the Astros first game ever at Enron Field.

In the bottom of the second, the Astros loaded the bases with nobody out on three walks. Person then missed on a full count pitch to Johnson to walk his fourth straight and the Astros had their first run before they got their first hit. Berkman scored from third when Eusebio grounded into the 4-6-3. Miller, the pitcher, got the Astros first hit as he recorded a two-out RBI single.
In the bottom of the third, Alou got a fastball from Person and hammered it 393 feet for a solo home run.
After three: Houston 4 Philadelphia 0.
In the top of the fourth, Berkman threw Morandini out at home as he tried to score from second on an Arias single.
In the bottom of the fifth, Alou went deep for the second time in the game as he sent a two-out solo shot 396 feet. That was all for Person as Carlos Reyes took the mound for the Phillies.
In the top of the sixth, with a runner on third and two out, Jay Powell took the mound for the Astros and got Arias to fly out to retire the side.
After six: Houston 5 Philadelphia 0.
In the top of the seventh, Octavio Dotel took the mound for the Astros. Rolen put the Phillies on the board with an RBI triple. Lieberthal added an RBI single. A walk loaded the bases with two out. But Dotel struck Burrell out to retire the side.
In the bottom of the seventh, Bryan Ward took the mound for the Phillies.
In the top of the eighth, with a runner on first and one out, Billy Wagner took the mound for the Astros and got Glanville to ground into the double play to retire the side.
In the bottom of the eighth, Scott Aldred took the mound for the Phillies.
In the bottom of the ninth, with runners at first and second and two out, pinch hitter Jimmy Rollins grounded to short but Johnson missed on the throw to first, allowing Rolen to score from second. But Wagner struck Burrell out to end the game with runners at second and third.
The Philadelphia lost despite getting 10 hits in the game.
Final score: Houston 5 Philadelphia 3.
