What a start to the World Series. The Cardinals are shut out for 3 consecutive games, then St. Louis wins the next 3, 2 of them in Detroit. Harry Walker led the charge in Game 4 with a big hit in the 7th. Game 5, the Tigers had the winning run on 2nd in the 9th inning but couldn't cash in, losing 5-4. Game 6 was a dominant complete game performance by Schoolboy Rowe to tie the series at 3.
