First ball park factors determine the hitting environment of a stadium dimensions are only used in the pbp. If you want to move a fence in and see an increase in HR you will have to increase the ballpark HR modifier. Though I do think there is an option to have OOTP set modifiers based on dimensions but I don't believe that takes into account how that affects league wide stats? All parks combined should have a net 0 effect. Increasing or decreasing one park moves the league off of net zero.
If you import the historical stadium pack you will be getting the park factors for all of those stadiums (those determine the stat output), the 3d models(I know you don't need them), and a day and night 2d screenshot of the fields.
These can be used in the 2d game or you could replace those with actual photos of the stadiums (the way OOTP worked before 3d

).They reside in the Ballpark folder. In STEAM pc version that is
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Out of the Park Baseball 22\data\ballparks
FWIW I haven't done this in many versions but can't see why it wouldn't work. So yeah, make a backup of you Ballpark folder before making any changes jut in case.
As far as the pitch location box it is also available in the 3d views, both modern and classic.
