People seem to have this unusual idea that a. cards are set to be pulled after X of Y (they aren't in this game, which they should fix) and b. that certain cards are "ultra mega hard" to pull.

NEITHER OF THESE ARE FACTS.

A BAL bronze and a Negro League card has the exact same identical probability of being in a pack as ANY OTHER CARD of that level. The problem? Is the pool of those types of cards becomes increased as more cards are released. Let's put it this way. Let's say there are, at the launch of the game, 300 bronze cards. So your chance of getting particular bronze card is, essentially, 1/300 every standard pack (since you are guaranteed one bronze). Does that mean you will get X card in 300 packs? No.

Now new bronze cards are released. They added 30. So NOW your odds are 1/330. This goes the same for silvers, golds, and of course, those oh so fun and elusive perfects.

To raise your chances? Buy historical packs. Are they expensive as all holy Hades? YEP! It's for a reason. Out of the Pockets wants your hard-earned ca$h, not to make the game fun and enjoyable.

I've managed to pull two BAL's and three Negro League cards since they were released (sold all the Negro League cards...to HELL with that impossible cheeve LOLOLOLOL). I've maybe opened 100 packs total since? Now, the two Negro League cards I pulled from GOLD packs had a higher chance since they were only competing with other gold cards, and thus had a higher probability to be in those packs. Total packs opened since launch is maybe 250 or so, still 0 perfects, so I'm still not expecting to ever get one (not giving Out of the Pocket$ all my cash just to get Jacob DeCrap or Ronald Acunapieceofgarbage).

Now, if they made a "luck factor" in packs, where the more packs you open without getting a certain rarity, the higher your probability of getting it is until you get it....that would make things more fair. But also make you spend less money and sell fewer kidneys. We can't have that. So don't expect it.
