Record: 12-15, 3rd, 8.5 GB Des Moines
Jose Segura hit a two-out, two-run home run off Kansas City reliever Victor Vodnik in the top of the sixth inning to snap a 4-4 tie, and help lift St. Louis to a 6-4 win at Kauffman Stadium.

KC tied it in the bottom of the fifth against McNaboe.
Josh Shuler with an RBI double, followed by a run-scoring single from Ramon Puente.
