The Rangers will conclude their home stand with a three-game series against the Baltimore Orioles. The Rangers are 1-2 so far on this home stand. The Orioles are 1-2 on the road this season. The Orioles lead the season series 2-1.

In the bottom of the first, Canseco drove a thigh-high fastball 395 feet for a two-run home run.

In the top of the third, a McLemore infield single scored one.

In the bottom of the third, an RBI single by Clark put the Rangers back up by two.

In the bottom of the fourth, Greer went yard with a 365 foot solo home run. Hulse added an RBI with a two-out triple, his second three-bagger of the game. Clark followed with a single to score Hulse.

In the top of the sixth, Ripken picked up an RBI with a sacrifice fly.

In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty and one out, Mark Williamson took the mound for the Orioles. A Hulse single scored a run. The Rangers scored another run on a Clark single. Canseco then hit his second homer of the game, a 382 foot three-run shot. With the bases empty and nobody out, Jim Poole took the mound for the Orioles. Palmer pulled a two-out solo home run 371 feet to left.

After six: Texas 12 Baltimore 2.

In the top of the seventh, Darren Oliver took the mound for the Rangers.

In the bottom of the eighth, with a runner on first and one out, Mark Eichhorn took the mound for the Orioles.

The Rangers pounded out 15 hits in the win.
