Ha, I have all kinds of sentimental idiosyncrasies but not that one... for all the nonsense "personality" ratings players get I think being surly over position in batting order is underrated. I never pay any attention to that "expected role" thing, I suppose it makes some of the bench players play worse than they might but I figure it is offset by playing better players in the lineup.
