Walkers news: May 14 -- St. Louis 5, Green Bay 0

Record: 17-20, 4th, 9.5 GB Des Moines
Jesse McNaboe came within one out of a shutout, exiting the game with the bases-loaded and two outs in the top of the ninth inning, as St. Louis snapped a four-game skid with a 5-0 win over Green Bay at Busch Stadium (2006).
McNaboe (4-3) had allowed just three hits through eight innings, before a trio of singles loaded the bases for the Mallards in the top of the ninth.
Luke Dunkin got the call, and closed it out with a strike out of pinch-hitter Austin Hendrick.
The game was tight until the River Walkers broke it open with four runs in the bottom of the eight.
St. Louis got its first run in the bottom of the first off Green Bay starting pitcher Alex Duarte.
Lead-off hitter Glenallen Hill Jr. reached base on a dropped third strike to open the inning.
Singles from Nathaniel Dixon and Jae-hong Chang loaded the bases with two outs.
Duarte then walked Jose Ramirez to score hill.
The Walkers scored their four runs in the eighth on five hits and a hit by pitch.
Daniel Becerra and Dixon drove in the first two runs with singles.
Ramirez plated the other two, also with a single, giving him three RBIs for the game.
