Milwaukee collected four runs over the first four innings against St. Louis starting pitcher Jesse McNaboe and the Crushers rode that to a 6-3 win at Busch Stadium (2006).
Milwaukee banged out three singles in the opening inning -- including a two-run single by Hsin-ping Mei to go up 2-0.
An inning later, two singles and two walks, including a bases-loaded free pass to Brett Baty, made it 3-0.
Noah Naylor hit a two-out homer off McNaboe in the third to up the ante to 4-0.
The River Walkers pieced together a pair of runners in the bottom of the sixth inning off Crushers starter Scott Mueller to draw within 4-2.
Milwaukee got both those runs back in the top of the ninth, when Mei hit a two-run homer off reliever Yeison Santos.
Mueller (3-1) allowed two runs on seven hits over 6.1 innings.
Chad Bigalow handled the final out of the seventh inning.
The eighth and ninth belonged to Joseph King, who notched his fifth save.
