Scott Bradley White Sox 1986
Scott Bradley was another victim of the Steinbrenner Curse. A catcher who could also play the infield and outfield corners, Bradley came up with the Yanks in '84 and had to waste two years of his career sitting while aging veterans (Butch Wynegar, Rick Cerone, Mike O'Berry, Ron Hassey) soaked up playing time in front of him. Prior to the '86 season the Yankees sent Bradley and Neil Allen to the White Sox to re-obtain Hassey. Bradley thus moved from one circus to another, since Hawk Harrelson was busy tearing the Sox to pieces. Bradley got just 21 ABs with Chicago and was then traded to Seattle for a Player to be Named who turned out to be Ivan Calderon. Given Bradley's limited playing time with Chicago that year it's not surprising that he has been hard to find in a White Sox uniform. Topps did catch him, but the photos were never used on cards. Here you go.
