The Texas Rangers have a new Shortstop!
We have completed this deal for Miguel Rojas.

Rojas is a defensive upgrade for us at SS and we were able to break even on money by getting them to send $2m in cash.
Also, we were able to add a solid defender in CF for our AAA team (in case we need one up in MLB at any time).
The two throw-ins were organization fillers guys we used to make the deal work.

Our second big trade of the day brings us a new Right Fielder and another arm for our rotation!
We have completed this trade for Max Kepler and Randy Dobnak!

David Dahl was very good for us, but he is getting more expensive and he is also fragile.
Kyle Cody is "selfish" and I would have preferred to keep Kolby Allard, but need to add him to make the deal work.

Yohel Pozo had an excellent season in AA, but he is a defensive liability and certainly not good enough defensively at catcher (45 catcher ability).

Kepler had pretty similar stats to Dahl offensively, but he is already signed for next year at $8.5m which I like.

Dobnak is signed for next four years with a team option for a fifth year.
