Alright, the offseason / spring training is now behind us. Let's take a look at the 26 man roster.

Here are the 13 pitchers to start the season.

We are forcing Chris Woodward to use DeMarcus Evans as the closer to start the year.

Jonathan Hernandez and Brett Martin both only have one option year remaining.
We have 17 pitchers currently on the 40man, so four arms optioned to AAA to start the year.

Here are the 13 batters to start the season.

As tempted as we were to start Josh Jung at AAA (for service time manipulation), we really did not have anyone else to hold down the job for a few weeks.
If he struggles in April, he might go down to AAA for the month of May.

Also, we are forcing our manager to use Sherten Apostel at 1B vs LHP to give him the platoon advantage.

As we start to get more competitive, we will be looking to upgrade in LF (and possibly in CF).
