After a decent April (11-10), we had a rough May (9-20) and are currently sitting at 21-32 (8.5 games back of the 2nd wildcard).

Here is a rundown on some of the injuries that have happened in the first two months.

On April 14th, we lost Kohei Arihara for 6 months.

The very next day we lost Zac Lowther for 5 weeks.

Today (June 4th) we learned that Jonathan Hernandez will miss the next 3 months.

Here are the stats for our current pitchers.

Michael King (acquired in a trade for Tony Kemp) has been excellent in his first 9 starts.

Adrian Morejon has also been very good and may warrant a look in the rotation in the second half (we signed him to a 1yr extension for $1.5m).

Here are the stats for our current hitters.

Max Kepler has been very disappointing so far (hurt by a BABIP of .197)

Nate Lowe had a very bad April (.511 OPS) but he is getting better as the season has gone on (.694 OPS in May).

Terrin Vavra and Miguel Rojas have had tremendous starts to the season for us.

We signed Andrew McCutchen to a MiLB deal (one of our owners goals was to acquire a former MVP) and we are platooning him in LF (optioned Steele Walker).
