A left handed hitting right handed thrower , Carruthers spent 5 seasons in the Indians organization from 1968 to 1972. He hit over .300 in his first three seasons. In 1968 , Carruthers hit .340 for the Rock Hill Indians. The other photo is of Carruthers in uniform for the Wichita Wranglers where he played in 1970 and 1971. I have yet to identify the baserunner playing for the Denver Bears.
