Excited to see what Roxbury can do with a player of that quality, as Laloosh seems like a great pick, though of course a team can't be carried by one man alone.
I didn't notice at first, but the 2nd pitcher was not taken until 18th and only four total in the 1st round. There was then a rush for pitchers in the 2nd round.

Something I found interesting while taking a quick look again through the draft. According to the BNN ranking for overall potential, the top two players were starting pitchers: Nuke Laloosh and College Luckyman. Roxbury took both of those guys, 1-1 and 2-1, respectively. Wow. Roxbury may have had the biggest steal for Luckyman to fall that low.

Let's take a look at him.

Skills: Helped the North Charles Goonies win the BYDL in 2297 and 2298, though they fell short to Beerthirty in 2299. Went undefeated his last two seasons in the regular season (20-0 in 26 starts). Had a no decision in the 2299 championship game. Has three good pitches and a fourth pitch that needs development. Fastball tops out at 93 but his changeup is devastating and should only get better. Considered a future ace prospect.

Personality: Has the "stubborn" tag to his name, not because he is not coachable but because he is rigid in his routines and likes to do things his own way. That makes the culture of a club off-putting to him. He has no particular loyalty, so he will do what is best for him over the team, including pulling himself out of games when he doesn't "feel it." He can learn new things well and will probably add a pitch or two to his repertoire in time.
