Wakers news: July 7 -- Ann Arbor 6, St. Louis 2

Record: 37-51, 7th, 13.5 GB Des Moines
Ann Arbor made the debut of St. Louis rookie starter John Good a rough one, collecting five runs off him in just 3.2 innings on its way to a 6-2 win at Busch Stadium (2006).
Good (0-1) was called up from AAA Memphis after an injury to Ricky Cisneros in a recent game left the River Walkers short a starter.
Good allowed five hits in his time on the mound, and hurt himself by issuing six walks.
The Wolf Pack jumped in front 2-0 with a pair of runs in the first inning.
That inning a walk, a hit by pitch and wild pitch by Good.
RJ Teijeiro collected an RBI with a sacrifice fly.
Danny Cushing ended Good's out in the fourth inning with a three-run homer to make it 5-0.
Both runners in front of Cushing had gotten on via walks.
Ann Arbor starting pitcher Josh Downer was impressive, allowing two runs on five hits over 6.1 innings. He struck out nine and walked one.
Rob Reul finished the seventh inning for the Wolf Pack.
The eighth and ninth were handled by Josh Walker and Edwin Cora, respectively.
