Roxbury's Dutton Mauled by Ghouls
Roxbury Rad Sox reserve third baseman Travis Dutton was injured today when he was overrun by a pack of feral ghouls. The attack came just south of West Roxbury Station.
"We had an incident today that affected several of our Roxbury family and friends," Roxbury mayor Warren Glowworm said. "Unfortunately, a roving pack of ferals made their way towards Roxbury outside of the protected zone. We lost two to the attacks, and we also understand 12 more people were injured. All the living have been transported to Milton General Hospital. Also, the pack of ghouls are no more thanks to our brave security team."
Rad Sox GM Josh "Honeycomb" Halcomb released a statement: "We're sorry for the loss of lives and hope all injured recover well. We understand that one of our players, Travis Dutton, was injured also. We will monitor his situation, but we understand he is in bad shape and baseball is probably out of the question in the coming months."
Dutton originally signed with the Rad Sox as an undrafted free agent in 2298. While most of his time has been spent with Forest Grove, he did appear in 19 games with seven starts in 2299 with Roxbury. In those games, he was 6 for 28 (.214) with a double, three runs, and two RBI.

Warwick Mirelurks Ship Slurp to Quantum
It is being reported in Quantum that the Nukalurks and the Warwick Mirelurks have agreed on a trade. According to anonymous sources 20-year-old 1B Steve Halperin and 20-year-old minor league RHP Ken Noe will be dealt to the Mirelurks in return for 29-year-old minor league 3B Com Slurp.

FHE-Quantum Trade: X for Moss, Kaplon
The Yao Guai and Nukalurks pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 26-year-old minor league LHP Owen X head to Quantum in exchange for 21-year-old minor league 1B Chris Moss and 22-year-old RHP Ryan Kaplon. A source close to FHE officials said "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs."
