Synthseeker's Impatience May Cost Him Time
Diamond City second baseman Jim Synthseeker is considered a talented backup second baseman that could lead to him becoming a starter for some team. Today, he got himself in hot water in Diamond City thanks to his impatience and dislike for the robotic kind.
While dining at Super Power Noodles, Synthseeker became upset with the server, a protectron named Takahashi II, for serving the wrong noodles. Synthseeker threw his bowl of noodles at the server, causing a short circuit. This in turn caused Diamond City security to detain and arrest Synthseeker for the damages and loss of business caused by the short circuit.
Swatters GM Josh Gillette has indicated that a team suspension was likely due to Synthseeker's actions.

Diamond City Swatters Ship Synthseeker to Finch Farm
Days after an incident in Diamond City, 2B Jim Synthseeker was dealt to Finch Farm by the Diamond City Swatters.
Diamond City has worked out terms of a deal to send 29-year-old Synthseeker and a 4th round draft pick in 2300 to Finch Farm for 2299 2nd-round pick RHP Machine Man Fortune and a 2nd round draft pick in 2300. Both teams expect to introduce their new players at press conferences later in the week.
Synthseeker spent most of his time with the Swatters in his four-year career, though he only started six total games. In 41 games played in 2299 for the CBO champions, Syntheeker batted .349 with two home runs and six RBI. He is considered a huge upgrade to Finch Farm which has otherwise been having a poor offseason. The Four Leafs at this point are expected to finish dead last in the North Charles Association in 2300.
Fortune was one of the players injured in the Glowing Sea Disaster, though he was the least injured of the six seriously injured players. He only suffered a broken eye socket, a punctured lung, and a lacerated thigh. He has fully recovered from his injuries and can join team practices in January for Diamond City.

Commonwealth Ready to Celebrate the Year 00
We are only hours away from the calendar changing to the year 00, and the CBO is just as involved as anyone when it comes to events.
Major parties involving CBO players and representatives are occurring in major settlements around the league: Diamond City, Starlight Drive-In, Nordhagen Beach, Lexington, Quincy, South Boston, and Goodneighbor are the most prominent.
The CBO is also preparing for the new league year, though CBO commissioner Nate Howard has indicated that decisions and announcements will be put off until Tuesday, January 2, to accommodate the "wild parties and major league hangovers" about to occur. Howard also said that teams were making players sign pledges that they would stay out of danger and serve as league diplomats in official capacities, meaning that their party needed to be reserved for controlled, private events. Howard is hoping that players will find a way to avoid incidents so that there are no key losses to the 2300 rosters due to drink and chem-based indulgences.
Howard has called the start of 2300 as the "Hundred Best Years of Baseball." According to Howard, "We want the best baseball ever starting in 2300. We have a great thing happening, and the best is yet to come."
