My original plan was just to play 2021 (hence the "only 2021" in the thread title) but the OOTP degenerate in me just can't let it go. So I'm going to push ahead, as this Rays save is going to be considerably different from my ongoing one. First, as far as the team goes I'm hanging on to Willy Adames and Brandon Lowe, both of whom I moved in the other save (and the real Rays have already moved Adames as well) with Wander Franco becoming the permanent 3B.

The other interesting thing is that although it's never happened in my main Rays save, at the first time of asking the AI has decided to expand with teams in San Antonio and Memphis. So this will add a cool new wrinkle that I'd like to see play out.

Therefore this save (and thread) is not dead, and will continue on. My main Rays save will remain the priority and this one will be played and updated at a slower pace.
