Inaugural 1900 Season
NBA
Regular Season: The Chicago Wizards (97-77) beat out the Cleveland Phantoms (94-80) late in the season to win the NC Pennant and met the powerhouse Philadelphia Liberty (109-65) who easily won the AC Pennant by a blowout 22 games ahead of the 2nd place Washington Senators (87-87).
Chih-hsiung Wei of the Cleveland Phantoms threw the first no hitter in NBA history on May 12th. (2 K, 3 BB, 9 IP versus Toledo)
Post-Season: In the best-of-5 series, Philadelphia took it 3-1 over Chicago, winning the inaugural NBA Championship

1901 Season

Regular Season: The Baltimore Braves (106-68) easily won the AC Pennant (13 games over) over the Washington Senators (93-81) and the Philadelphia Liberty (91-83) to meet the NC Pennant winner Cleveland Phantoms (101-73). Cleveland barely beat out the Chicago Fire (99-75) for the pennant.
Matt Pastor of the Baltimore Braves threw a no hitter against the Boston Rebels on May 14th (4 K, 0 BB, 9 IP). With two outs to go in the top of the 9th inning, Pastor's curveball struck a batter, ending a perfect game opportunity
Arturo Henriquez of the Toledo Brewers threw a no hitter against the Detroit Calvary on October 7th (1 K, 2 BB, 9 IP)
Post-Season: The 1901 NBA Championship was the first Championship game to feature both teams that finished with 100+ regular season victories. In a stunning finish, the Cleveland Phantoms walked it off in the bottom of the 9th in game 5 thanks to a RBI single by right fielder Howie Godfrey. Cleveland won the series 3 games to 2.

The NC Pennant went back to the Cleveland Phantoms (97-77) for the 2nd consecutive year, beating out the Cincinnati Sluggers and Detroit Calvary (both 94-80) by a mere 3 games
Hunter White of the Detroit Calvary pitched a no-hitter against the Cleveland Phantoms on April 20th (5 K, 3 BB, 9 IP)
Tony Norman of the New York Kings hit the first cycle in NBA history against the Pittsburgh Steamers on May 14th (4/5, 1 HR, 3 RBI)
Rule Changes: The NBA increased the active roster size to 27 at the conclusion of the 1902 season
Post-Season: A well matched game came down to a critical game 5 in Philadelphia. The Liberty defeated the Phantoms 4-2 to capture their second trophy in franchise history

Regular Season: The Boston Rebels (99-75) narrowly defeated the Washington Senators (97-77) to capture the AC Pennant where they would face the powerhouse NC Pennant winner Cleveland Phantoms (117-57), who won the pennant by 27 games over the next best team, the Cincinnati Sluggers (90-84). The Phantoms set an NBA and franchise record for number of wins in a single season
Luis Tamayo of the Washington Senators won the first pitching triple crown in NBA history, leading in wins (26), earned run average (2.18), and strikeouts (246).
Post-Season: In a not shocking result, the Cleveland Phantoms blew out the Boston Rebels in the first (and only) three games, sweeping the round and capturing their 2nd NBA Championship.

Cleveland beat out the Detroit Calvary (98-76) by 11 games to win the pennant.

Post-Season: Cleveland once again reigned victorious over Baltimore, sweeping the Braves in 3 games to capture their 3rd NBA Championship. Cleveland became the first team in NBA history to win back-to-back championships
