BYDL Teams Introduced
As the premier league for recruiting talent to the CBO, the Boston Youth Development League is now an official affiliate of the CBO. That means the league will have additional funding, allowing the league to better organize.
"We've arrived!" BYDL commissioner Black Widow Kenner said.
This season, the BYDL divided itself into organized divisions, which will mean that the league will have more chances to show off its stuff in a playoff system featuring eight teams per season. Before, teams would independently schedule games, sometimes in an unbalanced way. At the end of the season, it was decided which two teams would play in the championship series. As an example of the imbalance, North Charles Bank and South Charles Bank each played 30 of their 50 games versus each other in 2299.
In 2300, the schedule is still being worked out. The CBO has expressed a desire for the BYDL to play more regular season games than the usual 50. Final decisions will be made by the end of the week.
Below are the teams. Most teams have only one jersey, but some teams have alternative jerseys.
