MISSING PLAYERS LOCATED: William Stein / Joe Daly / Harry Morelock
It's been a little while, but I received this photo of the 1891 Portland, Connecticut team from the great-grandson of William Stein, a missing player who pitched one game for the Athletics in 1890.
Remarkably, the photo also features two other missing players Joe Daly, another 1890 Athletic (+1891 Cleveland / 1892 Boston) and Harry "Hen" Morelock, 1891-92 Philadelphia Phillies.
In addition, it features three other major leaguers...John Kelty, Bobby Sheehan and Walter Plock.
