It's a minor nitpick but you rarely see an elite player who is an unrestricted free agent forgo an entire season.
So I'd like to see them get signed at some point. Maybe some team in "win now" makes some moves to free up cap space to sign them. Then we would see a message like "finally, Player X has signed with Team B increasing their chances of winning the cup this year"

It would help if they were less greedy. I see Anthony Beauvillier still as restricted free agent in November 2022 after choosing not to resign with his original team in summer. I would love to have him on my Jets team. But he is asking for well over 5 million! It's a bit much for a career third liner.
