Walkers news: Oct. 23 -- Paul Franko will be new bench coach
The St. Louis River Walkers that Paul Franko will be their new bench coach.
The 49-year-old Franko replaces some guy who replaced Stubby Clapp around midseason when it was evident the team was not going anywhere.
Franko spent last season as manager of the State College Spikes in the New York-Penn League.
The Spikes went 46-28 and won their division.
