The German team is still a bit of a mess.
Low has one foot out the door and is leaving as soon as the tournament is over.

The squad is a mix of young and raw players and older players who are past their primes.
I would rather he play the young players and get bounced in the group stages rather than play a mixture of the two.

After this tournament, Germany needs to find a manager and staff that is committed to the future and nurture it's next generation and work on making sure it qualifies for the 2022 WC in November ( )

The biggest issue is not the defence but the lack of an attack.
The defence is going to look bad when it is under constant pressure.
And past German teams were better at ball control and sustained attacks that allowed their defence time to rest or even let their fullbacks and centre backs join the attack.
