This week shows that there is real potential for the OL/DLL thing to harm OL's structure. A big problem with PT21 was the huge jump between Gold and Diamond. OL are probably looking at an even greater gulf, and an overly high chance of relegation if they have to face DLL regularly. Then the top tiers of OL may end up with poorly distributed teams, and that would suck!

The ideal thing, at least to me, would be for them to allow dedicated friends lists where the teams could stay together regardless of their level, with no promotion or relegation. If you get 30 teams together, then, although it would be a bit cumbersome, and might take a couple of weeks, you could get close to structuring the leagues so that the rosters could be unique. You'd probably have to limit the amount of various level cards per team at first, but I could imagine an OL with 30 unique teams where you could use the auction house to make "trades" of players. I think it could be easily coded into the sort routine, but I can't imagine it ever happening. As I have said, probably enough times that you're tired of hearing it, I have suggested this and have yet to have my suggestion even acknowledged. Since the devs have been very responsive for other questions I have had, I guess it's a non-starter.
