Walkers news: May 23-- Tiburicio recalled from injury rehab; Pazos to Memphis
The St. Louis River Walkers have recalled starting pitcher Angel Tiburcio from AAA Memphis, where he was on an injury rehab, and sent right-handed starter Alex Pazos to the Redbirds.
Tiburcio, 33, last pitched for the Walkers on May 5, when he left a game against Toledo in the third inning with a shoulder strain.
The right-hander has made six starts for St. Louis in 2034, going 2-1 with a 4.99 ERA.
He made one start at Memphis, where he gave up two runs over eight innings.
Pazos, 25, made four starts for the Walkers -- two good, two bad -- going 2-2 with a 5.85 ERA.
In his most recent outing, in a 10-3 loss to Twin Cities, he gave up eight runs in just four innings.
