I was looking at a few of Coney Island’s box scores from yesterday. The AI makes some curious moves but if I had the ability to fire him I would have for not making one. Jay Howell comes in to protect a 2-0 lead in the top of the 9th and walks all six batters he faces before finally being removed, probably because he was exhausted not because he couldn’t throw a strike. We ended up dropping the game 5-3. I looked back at the couple of games prior and pen should have had more than enough rested arms to not hang him out to dry.
Maybe I just dont get the analytics
