Walkers news: June 6 -- St. Louis 5, Milwaukee 4

Record: 33-27, 4th, 6.5 GB Cedar Rapids
Freudis Nova's two-out RBI single capped a two-run bottom of the ninth inning for St. Louis, as the River Walkers rallied for a 5-4 win over Milwaukee at Busch Stadium (2006).
For the second consecutive game, former Walker reliever Yeison Santos took the loss for the Crushers, although this time he was not on the mound when the winning run scored.
Jose Segura got it started with a lead-off single.
He scored two batters later on a Jared Thomas double.
Chris Duncan grounded out for the second out, with Segura staying at second.
Caleb Walker took over the mound duties for Milwaukee, and was greeted by a single by pinch-hitter Dan Hillard to place runners at the corners.
Nova followed with his game-winner a line drive into left-center on a 0-1 pitch from Walker.
At one point, St. Louis trailed 4-2.
The Walkers pulled to within 4-3 on a run-scoring two-out double from Duncan in the sixth off Yeison Rafael Sanders.
Earlier, Duncan hit a two-run homer off Crushers reliever Ed Sutherland in the fifth to make it 2-1 St. Louis.
Walkers starter Devin Rogers allowed three runs in the top of the sixth.
Overall, he pitched 5.1 innings, allowing four runs on nine hits.
Luke Dunkin completed the sixth inning for St. Louis.
Zachary Stella worked the seventh and got the first out of the eighth.
Getting the final two outs of the eighth helped earn the win for Scott Rissler (1-3).
Nick Ruffalo struck out the side in in the ninth for his third save.
