Records look a lot different than RL when nothing before 1951 exists. My knowledge of 50s baseball is limited. Starting in 1951 has improved it. For a time I started in 1969 and then switched to 1955 to get Clemente's entire career. Later I changed to 1951 to get the entire careers of Mays, Mantle, and Aaron.
Anyway, back to records looking different, your Footnote League player Dale Long is #37 on the all time home run list. Frank Thomas is #19 and the Pirates all time home run leader but the Bucs did not retire his number. (Only retired Pirate number is Bob Friend.)
