I think it would be a (slightly insane) bet that whoever is broken comes back in time to do something, and that they'll get lucky and the Dodgers get beat in a wild card game or the DS.
Which may be less of an idea with the Barves out picking guys up. They are clearly unimpressed with the Mets and Phoolies, as they should be. Between injuries and ineffectiveness the Metsies really wasted a golden chance to be sitting way, way up in this mess of a division by now.
