With this season fast becoming an exercise in playing out the string, I'm just going to summarize each series (and perhaps eventually condense into week-by-week or month-by-month posts) rather than recap each individual game.

In this series they lost their third straight 3-2 game (and 6th overall) in the opener, in 11 innings, lost again 7-4, and finally won 8-4 in 11 innings. Vidal Brujan was activated and Mike Brosseau was sent to Durham, and Brujan drove in both runs in the first game, a 5-run bullpen meltdown in the 7th turned a 2-2 game into a loss in the 2nd, and despite the bullpen allowing the tying run with 2 out in the 9th, a 4-run 11th won Game 3.

Team record: 20-31, 8 back - believe it or not we gained a game on the Blue Jays as they were swept by Houston. Oakland visits the Trop for the next 3.
