The St. Louis River Walkers have announced that catcher Jared Thomas will miss the final game before the All-Star break with an ankle injury suffered in their 4-0 loss to Detroit on July 8.
With a week off following the finale of their series with the Diesels, Thomas should have ample time to recover before the Walkers resume play on July 17 at Des Moines.
Thomas, 33, is batting .242 with five homers and 25 RBIs in 67 games this season.
