What a game, what a duel. Zach Burgmeier and Kevin Turnbull went at it, with Jonathan Vaughns' homer in the 4th the game's only run. The Padres loaded the bases with 2 out in the 9th against Cubs closer Luis Balladares but Juan Pena took a 3-2 pitch for a called strike 3 and Chicago is on to face arch-rival St. Louis in the NLDS.
