I've battled that team photo for a number of years. For what it's worth, I've gone back and forth between McVey and Perrier as that player in the middle row, far left. I'm still undecided. I've attached exemplars of Perrier, Hulin, George Rhue as players long considered to be in the lineup.
UKBaseball fan and myself both have seen the Buchtel image and agree with his placement.
