Jim Martin allowed one run over seven innings to lead St. Louis to a 3-1 win over Madison at Comiskey Park (1969).
Martin (12-11) allowed the one run -- a solo homer from Armando Trevino which tied it at 1-1 in the bottom of the fourth -- on three hits. He struck out five and walked one.
Zachary Stella pitched a scoreless eighth for the River Walkers.
Scott Rissler was perfect in the ninth for his ninth save.
After the Muskies tied it on Trevino's homer in the bottom of the fourth, St. Louis regained the lead with two in the top of the fifth
Izaac Pacheco led off the inning with a single off Efrain Garcia.
Martin got down a bunt to move Pacheco to second.
A single by Nathaniel Dixon placed Pacheco on third.
After a strikeout of Daniel Becerra, Dixon stole second.
Jared Thomas drove both runners in with a single.
