Walkers news: Jan. 1 -- St. Louis lands prize catching free agent Miller
The St. Louis River Walkers have announced the signing of 32-year-old catcher Jackson Miller to a four-year contract.
The contract is worth $18 million per season, although the final season does include a team option.
Miller, an eight-time All-Star, spent last season and his entire career with Des Moines where he hit .280 with 12 homers and 77 RBIs.
Miller broke into the majors in 2024, and became a starter in 2025.
Overall, he has hit .280 for his career with 151 homers and 617 RBIs.
