I too couldn't believe that the app was better than any available and reputable PC software... but I couldn't find anything better either. So now when I need a critical enhancement, I've been able to save the pictures to my OneDrive on the PC, adjust them with basic photo editor software as needed on the PC (fix a spot, rotate the image, make it greyscale if sepia, etc.), then save it back to the OneDrive.
Next, from my phone I go to the OneDrive app, download that tweaked picture to my photo library on the iPhone. From there, I call it up on the Remini app, enhance it, save it back to the iPhone photo library and then, with a couple taps, upload from there back to the OneDrive ready to load into facegen.
It doesn't take nearly as long as it does when the process is written out...
I'll be curious if others have found a PC-based program though as I finally gave up looking.
