Walkers news: February 22 - Deal with Ann Arbor brings McDonald to rotaton
The St. Louis River Walkers have announced a trade which will send right-handed relief pitcher Justin O'Rourke and right-handed prospect Alejandro Chacon to Ann Arbor in exchange for right-handed starting pitcher Josh McDonald.
McDonald, 28, has been part of the Wolf Pack's starting rotation since 2030.
During that time, he has gone 41-53 in 147 games (135 starts) with a 4.17 ERA.
In the 2034 season, McDonald went 7-13 in 33 starts with a 4.74 ERA.
St. Louis acquired O'Rourke from Cincinnati during July.
The 33-year-old got into 26 games, going 2-1 with a two saves and a 4.88 ERA.
At Cincinnati, O'Rourke had gone 3- with four saves and a 4.10 ERA in 45 games.
Chacon, 22, split time between Class A Peoria and high-A Palm Beach in 2034.
A scouting discovery, Chaco went 4-12 with a 4.60 ERA in Peoria.
At Palm Beach, he was 2-1 with a 1.33 ERA in six starts.
