Walkers news: April 7 -- St. Louis 9, Madison 1

Shane Drogo allowed one run over six innings and St. Louis jumped out to an early 3-0 lead and cruised to a 9-1 win over Madison at Busch Stadium (2006).
Drogo allowed the one run -- on an RBI single from John McCaskey in the top of the fifth to make it 5-1 -- on four hits. He struck out three and walked three.
Jose Segura hit a three-run homer off Muskies starter Jared Darch in the bottom of the first inning to stake the River Walkers to a 3-0 lead.
That lead grew to 5-0 in the third.
Hector Tavarez drove in the first run with a double off Darch.
Segura plated the other with a fly ball, also off Drach.
Nick Shaw later made it 6-1, when he led off the fifth with a homer off Madison reliever Tyler Phillips.
St. Louis got its final three runs in the sixth.
Segura collected two more RBIs with a single off Andrew Perez.
Bob Saavedra made it 91 with an RBI single.
Greg Sones, Scott Rissler and Juan Munoz all pitched scoreless innings to close out the game for St. Louis.
