Walkers news: June 29 -- Wenman to injured list; Martinez called up from AAA
The St. Louis River Walkers have placed catcher Zach Wenman after he suffered a thigh injury in their 11-1 win over Kansas City on June 29.
Wenman, 26, has had a great season at the plate hitting .365 with one homer and 25 RBIs in 48 games.
Getting the callup from AAA Memphis is Manny Martinez.
This happens just three games after he had been demoted following starting catcher Jackson Miller's return from the injured list.
