The St. Louis River Walkers have placed catcher Jackson Miller on the 10-day injured list after he suffered a back injury during a 9-2 win over Louisville on July 20.
It is the third trip to the injured list this season for Miller 33, who when he has been able to play has batted .302 with two homers and 18 RBIs in 43 games.
Getting called up from AAA is Manny Martinez, who is back in the majors for the third time this season.
In 14 games with the Walkers, he has hit .293 with one homer and seven RBIs.
