News Around the League
19 June - Action Boys Show No Mercy in 10-0 Thrashing of Cannibals: 19-year-old Postal Square Action Boys pitcher Sunburst Kozlowski had a strong outing against the Charles View Cannibals at Greenetech Genetics Park today, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 1 in the 10-0 win and walked 1 while surrendering 3 hits.
"Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said.
So far this year Kozlowski has compiled a 2-6 record with a 9.29 ERA.
21 June - Season Ends for Frito: The season will end prematurely for Emmett Frito, the Galleria starting pitcher. He suffered a torn rotator cuff on 06/18/2300, an injury that is serious enough to knock him out of action for the rest of the year. Frito was not available for comment.
This year Frito has posted a 1-2 mark in 6 starts and has a 2.09 ERA.
24 June – All-Star Game Rosters:
25 June - Injury Brings Season to End for Knowles: "Not what I wanted to hear," said Postal Square's Mike Knowles to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 06/21/2300 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Knowles said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Knowles has been out of action since he suffered a torn labrum.
