I've been busy and had little time for PT this week, so haven't altered my rosters at all. I'm hoping to recharge my batteries for an enthusiastic run at packs when the final live update has happened.
I was thinking of writing a 6 month report on Paxville's progress, but, after casting a critical eye over their 'development' over the last few months, I decided it was a bit depressing
. Man, the AI has their number when it comes to packs. If they haven't finished a "good" mission when it drops, they won't... or so it would seem. I was lucky to get McGwire! But their offense is too weak for Gold now, which I'm honestly a bit sad about.
With Knockemstiff, I finished a few nearly done missions on Sun/Mon, and now intend to just open their tourney packs for a while until something else is easy to finish. My 2nd and 3rd teams are not supposed to demand too much of my time, and the Shiners have also drifted a bit too much from their theme.
And speaking of my 3rd team. I'm growing to really like Seattle! I think smallball is under utilized. However, their progress will probably be quite slow now, as I'm only going to enter daily and weekly tournaments from now on. I owe it to the offense to relax the theme rules a bit to allow some better pitchers onto the roster, so I started with Johnny Sain who I pulled last week.
I'll be up for doing Gold or Silver next week.
