I learned long ago not to dwell on OOTP's few flaws... it is a great game and one has to accept the little annoyances that come with a great game.
My problem in life is I prefer perfection... and many times EC does not get it... but life is still good.

"Rolling with the Flow" is a good philosophy of life.

I'm not too sure Rolling Hills would have won the Pro Cup this year... the players are showing their age... I hope Stonich and Mulbert retire this year... maybe Palazzi, too... his defense is really bad for a first baseman... it also will not be too long before Roubique takes off the spikes for the final time... he led the league in RBIs... but the end is near for all of the great Racers.

I hope they retire and not play too long like Willie Mays did... even my idol and all-time favorite player Stan Musial played too long... Stan the Man should have retired in 1958 and gone out on a super-duper skyhigh... that the way EC likes it in "his perfect world"... but Musial just couldn't hang 'em up... but he was a special player... look what he did in in 1962 at age 41... '59 through '63 wasn't embarrassing... Musial still was a fairly productive player.

If you look in my IPA thread I had a no-hitter interrupted due a freeze in the 7th inning. Luckily I had saved the progress and lost only two batters. I do this frequently for this very reason. I've lost intense games in the 8th inning after watching the entire thing and have had to restart from scratch. Very frustrating. It takes a little bit of time to exit and save, but it's well worth it.

I did lose 6 playoff games in my 1948 season due a computer issue that was separate from OOTP, but I had no patience to play out the games again, I just quick simmed to the point where it crashed and I moved on.

That 1962 season is incredible at any age, whether at 31 or 41.
