The St. Louis River Walkers have announced that free-agent closer Bobby Westerman has decided to remain with the team.
Westerman, 27, was acquired by St. Louis on July 30 in a trade with Milwaukee.
In 18 games over the final two months, he went 1-1 with 15 saves in 15 opportunities with a 0.98 ERA.
The four-year contract is worth $26 million, with the final season featuring a team buyout.
