Walkers news: Dec. 18 -- Lefty reliever Cintron agrees to deal
The St. Louis River Walkers have announced the signing of left-handed relief pitcher Armando Cintron to a two-year contract.
Cintron, 32, pitched in just six games for Green Bay -- going 0-0 with two saves and a 6.23 ERA -- before missing the remainder of the regular season with a shoulder injury.
For his career, Cintron has pitched in 403 games going 28-33 with a 2.61 ERA and 206 saves.
The deal is worth $2.2 million per season, but included a team buyout for the 2037 season.
