The flip-side o' that is that they are hitting the ball hard off of Wainwright: 5 of 7 batters have mashed it. 1 for a hit, 2 right at 'em, 1 good defensive play, 1 just under it. Of course this wouldn't be the first time I've seen a good pitcher start off really lucky, then find his groove.
Scherzer, OTOH, looks more like he has in last three starts - less than stellar - than he looked before that in his first several Dodger starts... (And at this rate he's going to be at 70 pitches before he gets nine outs...)
