We have a series...
Turnabout is fair play and all that as the Cubs crushed the Rays 12-2, making both World Series games so far decided by double digits. There isn't much to say except the Rays bats were dominated by Steve Fairweather, and poor Jimmy Leonard was overmatched but I have no RH-hitting OF left to platoon with him. Tim Gates was terrible, and the Cubs are the opposite of the Jays as they're a lefty-dominant team so it's better to throw lefties at them. I'm hoping this means Josh Carsello has some success in Game 3 at Wrigley, and it's possible Jose Mendoza (added to the roster for this series with Steve Beaver dropped) will get the start in lieu of Vinny Willard in Game 4.
